At Memorial Health System, we prefer to work with local companies. However, the policies of our materials management and purchasing departments allow for competitive bidding outside the area when it is deemed to be in the best interest of the health system to ensure the hospital is receiving competitive pricing from a reasonable number of qualified bidders.

Companies who wish to do work for or at Memorial must adhere to the requirements dictated in the "Business Transaction Policy Handbook." We require either a contract and/or a purchase order be in place before any work or product may be provided to the health system. This expedites payment to the vendor and helps us track expenditures/orders.
