Spiritual Care

Memorial Hospital for Children in partnership with The Children's Hospital prides ourselves on providing an invaluable resource—spiritual care—to our patients, families, visitors and staff. Pastoral services are designed to meet diverse spiritual and emotional needs. They are available during normal business hours and on-call for nights/weekends. Spiritual care is delivered by:

  • Five staff chaplains
  • 70 volunteer chaplains
  • Catholic lay eucharistic ministers

    • Specific services include:

  • Prayer
  • Encouragement
  • Pastoral support
  • End-of-life care and support
