Pediatric Surgery

Surgery is surgery, right? When it comes to children that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Pediatric surgery requires the specialized expertise and training of board-certified pediatric surgeons who can evaluate and manage the simplest to the most complex of surgical conditions for children of all ages.

Along with providing excellent surgical care, a goal of Memorial Hospital for Children in partnership with The Children's Hospital is to educate our patients, their families and the community about surgical conditions that are unique to children, including circumcision, congenital anomalies, deformities, etc.

In conjunction with our Child Life Program, we provide resources and opportunities to help prepare your child for surgery.
