Memorial Health System's team of health care professionals consists of nearly 2,500 nurses, technicians and therapists, as well as 800 plus physicians. We serve as a resource to the community’s health care professionals, as well as our own team of physicians and clinicians.

A focus on physicians…

The majority of physicians who work with Memorial practice independently of the system and have privileges here. Our mutual success is driven by collaboration, open communication and support. As such, we take great pride in our commitment to continually increase physician satisfaction. Programs, tools and resources designed specifically with our physicians in mind, include:

  • Credentials & Privileges —guidelines for becoming and retaining membership on Memorial Health System’s medical staff.
  • Education —we provide numerous continuing medical education courses for AMA credit, major training conferences, leadership development opportunities, as well as seminars on particular products and services.
  • Physician Relations —your liaison to the system for any questions, comments or concerns.
  • PhysicianLink —an online tool that provides access to your patient’s lab and radiology test results.

A focus on nurses and other clinical professions…

As a leading provider of health care services, Memorial Health System believes in the importance of providing training and development opportunities for health care professionals to continually enhance their skills. We also believe our industry is one of the best industries in which to pursue a career and are supportive of many programs to develop our future health care professionals.

Clinical resources and education include:

  • Life support classes, such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Nursing education which provides continuing education credit opportunities through courses like Diabetes Education, Critical Care Essentials, Medical Terminology, EKG, Family Approach to Tissue and Organ Donation and Bereavement
  • School of Radiology which provides a certification program for people interested in a career in diagnostic imaging and radiologic technology

In addition to supporting clinicians currently in the field, we reach out to those interested in pursing health care careers. We support 10 schools of nursing by serving as a system where future health care professionals can gain clinical experience hands on. We also contribute millions of dollars each year toward Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences scholarships. In addition to providing countless training and support opportunities for our health care professionals, we extend our expertise in the health care industry to the community.
