How to Help

Memorial Health System has been taking care of the Colorado Springs community for more than 100 years. While we are city-owned, we are completely self-funded, operating without any taxpayer support. Yet, our commitment to provide the best quality care for all patients remains strong. Every year Memorial Health System, including Memorial Hospital for Children in partnership with The Children’s Hospital, contributes upwards of $60 million to the community through donations, free health services and events, as well as the cost of unreimbursed care.

To continue meeting the ever-growing and changing health care needs of the community requires major ongoing investment—investment in the best people, best technology and best practices. For example, continuing to provide the unmatched standard of care and service our residents are accustomed to requires major capital investments in facility remodeling and expansion. Through new facilities and locations we can ensure access to care is easily available throughout the community.

Memorial Health System also prides itself on offering unique health care programs and services that enhance our patients’ experience and ability to get well, especially with regard to our pediatric patients. These include:

We’re able to provide these specialized services because of your generous support.

We can’t accomplish all of this on our own though. We need your help to preserve and enhance the health care available in our community.

So, how can you get involved? By working with the Memorial Health System Foundation you can provide the gift of money designated to a general fund or for a particular program/service.
