Memorial Hospital for Children was founded upon the belief that all children need a hospital just for
them. They have unique developmental, emotional and physical needs. So,
their care is best when it's targeted and specialized.
We are a National Association of Children's Hospital and Related Institutions
(NACHRI) designated and nationally recognized children's hospital. This means we provide
the best and brightest medical professionals, nationally and
internationally recognized programs, the most advanced care and
technology and a complete range of pediatric specialties. Our Philosophy/Values
- Founded upon a belief that all children need a hospital just for them
- Providing the highest quality medical care where illness does not define the child
- Family is involved in care decisions and treatment
- Warm, uplifting care environment
- Extending our sensitivity and compassion to the whole family
Our Healing Environment

- Rooms that allow families to stay with their hospitalized children through the night

Future Growth
With the debut of a children’s hospital within Memorial Health System,
in December, 2007, we opened a 300,000 square foot addition to Memorial
Hospital Central at 1400 E. Boulder. This addition is now home to our
expanded and centralized children's services—Memorial Hospital for
Children, as well as enhanced women’s/maternity services and an
Emergency Department.
